PERFORATION OF THE INTESTINE BY AN INGESTED SHARP FOREIGN BODY

Summary 1 A report is given in detail of a perforation of the alimentary tract by an ingested sharp foreign body. 2 A study of ninety-three cases of similar lesions reveals no urinary syndrome as described in this case. 3 Surgical removal by the perineal route was successful. Convalescence was normal and there were no complications.
