Model Plastik T Sponge MPA (Medroxy Progesteron Acetate) Soft Release for Oestrus Synchronization in Cows

The aims of the research is to use a method of design model Plastic T Sponge MPA, while the long-term goal is to support programs for synchronize of oestrus in cow and treatment of infertility without waiting for the occurrence of natural estrus. Methods of research are carried out on 20 head of cow in a state of lust ever, healthy and not pregnant conducted on dairy farm owned by Lany s farm in Sepanjang-Sidoarjo. Experimental design used was completely randomized design which is divided into four treatment groups, each group consisted of 5 cow, the data analyzed by Analysis of Variance and be cont inuous with theLeast Significant Difference Test. The group consists of Po as a control group given twice injections PGf2α 20 mg 11 days interval, P1 group 1.5 g of progesterone + 10 mg estradiol benzoas, P2 1 g of progesterone +10 mg estradiol benzoas, P3 900 mg progesterone + 10 mg estradiol benzoas, subsequent diagnosis ofpregnancy was performed with USG on day 28 after AI in cow via rectal exploration. The results showed that administration of PGf2α and Plastic T Sponge MPA give effect time of estrus onset on the use PGf2α more slowly when compared with the use of Plastic T Sponge MPA; the use of Plastic T Sponge MPA and PGf2α effective in the induction and synchronization of estrus and to produce a good gestation; dose of 0.9 grams MPA in the form of Plastic T Sponge is still effective to induce estrus and pregnancy, so this dose that can besaid the most efficient compared to treatment with other doses.
