A new Neopanorpa (Mecoptera, Panorpidae) from China with notes on its biology

A new species of the scorpionfly, Neopanorpa lipingensis, is described and illustrated from the Micangshan Mountains, central China. The immature stages, including egg and larva, were obtained through rearing and illustrated. Its biology and behaviour are also briefly reported.
