A Network Reconfiguration Method for Three-phase Distribution Network using Simplified Power Flow Model
2018
This paper proposes a network reconfiguration method for unbalanced three-phase distribution network to optimize operation of distribution system such as decreasing real power loss, improving voltage profile and balancing load flow between branches. A simplified power flow model considering unbalanced parameters of distribution system is constructed based on existing measurement data by replacing nonlinear loss terms with linear approximation. Thus, mathematical model of network reconfiguration is developed and transformed into a mixed integer quadratic programming (MIQP) problem, which can be solved efficiently. Results of numerical tests demonstrates efficiency and effectiveness of proposed method.
