Effects of Precipitation on Nicotine,Total Nitrogen and Shmuck Value of Flue-cured Tobacco in Similar Altitude of Yunnan
2011
[Objective] The aim was to study the effects of precipitation on nicotine, total nitrogen and Shmuck value of flue-cured tobacco in similar altitude of Yunnan.[Method] Choosing the same variety K326 and sampling in six flue-cured tobacco planting sites which had similar altitude, standardized cultivation and baking techniques and different precipitation during field period.Correlation analysis on nicotine, total nitrogen,Shmuck value with precipitation were carried out.[Result] The results showed that there was an obviously negative correlation between precipitation and three indices. With increase of precipitation, radiation decreased, which might cause nicotine synthesis function abated. In the sample, precipitation range of reasonable Shmuck value was 152-210 mm.Increased rainfall led to decreasing the amount of radiation might cause radiation-induced nicotine decreased.Planting areas with similar precipitation might be high quality flue-cured tobacco regions, which was worth a further study.[Conclusion] The study can provide correlative basis for flue-cured tobacco planting division and rational allocation for tobacco leaves.
