The invention discloses a method for preparing ethyl levulinate through catalyzed synthesis with an iron ion-modified molecular sieve, and relates to catalyzed synthesis of ethyl levulinate. A catalyst is selected from at least one of an iron ion-modified HZSM-5 molecular sieve, a USY molecular sieve, an HY molecular sieve and an Hbeta molecular sieve; a reaction solvent is ethyl alcohol; according to the reaction conditions, the temperature is 100-150 DEG C, the rotating speed is 300-500 rpm, the time is 2-3 h, the mass ratio of furfuryl alcohol to a supported molecular sieve is (1-4):1, and the mass ratio of furfuryl alcohol to ethyl alcohol is (0.025-0.1):1. By means of the method, the maximum yield of ethyl levulinate can reach 90% or above.
