PENDIDIKAN KESEHATAN REPRODUKSI REMAJA TENTANG SEKS PRANIKAH DENGAN MEDIA LEAFLET DI WILAYAH PMB LINARSIH DESA PEKUNCEN SEMPOR

Background: Pre-marital sex in adolescence puts teenagers at a risk challenge to reproductive health issues. Each year around the world approximately 15 million adolescents aged between 15-19 years of birth, 4 million have abortions and nearly 100 million are infected with sexually transmitted diseases. Globally 40% of all cases of HIV / AIDS infection occur in young people aged 15-24. One of them is because of lack of reproduction health knowledge about pre-marital sex (Yuli, 2010). Therefore, the writer is interested in conducting adolescent reproduction health education about pre-marital sex by using leaflet media to improve the knowledge of adolescents. Objective: This study aims at knowing the reproduction health education for adolescents to increase their knowledge about pre-marital sex by using leaflet media in the area of independent midwifery clinic of Midwife Linarsih at Pekuncen, Sempor. Method: This scientific paper is an analytical descriptive. Data were obtained through interviews and observations. The study was conducted from 25 February up to 5 May, 2018. The respondents are 5 teenagers in the age of 15 – 18 years old. The instruments are pre-test and post-test questionnaire sheets. Result: After having health education about reproduction health by using leflet media in adolescents their level of knowledge about premarital sex increases.. Knowledge of the five respondents before the health education four of them fall into the category of less and one in the category enough. After being given health education to the five respondents their knowledge was categorized as good. Conclusion: Reproduction health education for adolescents about pre-marital sex by using leaflet media is very effective and useful to improve youth knowledge.
