Coagulação do Plexo Coroide em Hidranencefalia: relato de caso

Hydranencephaly (HE) is a rare disorder in which there is no cerebral hemispheres but the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) is normally produced in the choroid plexus, but poorly absorbed, resulting in hydrocephalus. The traditional treatment is the CSF shunt. A good option is the neuroendoscopy, a procedure that is performed coagulation of the choroid plexus (CPC). In this report we present a case of HE treated with CPC.
