High Throughput Screening

2014
High throughput screening (HTS) is capable of screening large compound libraries for activity with a diverse portfolio of biologically relevant endpoints. In comparison to traditional single-concentration HTS, titration-based quantitative high throughput screening (qHTS) is especially useful in toxicology because of its capacity to profile thousands of chemicals in concentration-response format, with greatly reduced rates of false positives and false negatives.
