O gênero Evolvulus L. (Convolvulaceae) na Região Sul do Brasil

This study present the species of Evolvulus that occur in the three states of southern Brazil. Was carried out an extensive literature review and national and international herbaria. Nine species of Evolvulus were found in southern Brazil: Evolvulus barbatus Meisn., E. fi lipes Mart., E. glomeratus Nees & Mart., E. latifolius Ker-Gawl., E. linarioides Meisn., E. nummularius (L.) L., E. pusillus Choisy, E. sericeus Sw. and E. serpylloides Meisn., with three of them occurring in three states and six found only in Parana state. This work also includes an identifi cation key for species, descriptions with illustrations, observations about habitat, fl owering and fruiting periods and geographic distribution.
