A System Dynamics Study of the Development of rural energy in Shandong Province

Rural energy construction is a special field in energy sustainable development for China. A rational energy structure is able to promote the social, economic and environmental development. This paper used system dynamics theory to analyze the rural energy system, divided it into four subsystems, including population, energy supply, renewable energy resources and structure. The simulation model for rural energy in Shandong Province was established to find rational patterns for rural energy sustainable development.
