Research progress in the mechanism of absorption and transport of phosphorus

Phosphorus has essential physiological function to animals.It was absorbed on apical membrane of small intestinal epithelial cells and reabsorbed on renal brush-border membrane.The active uptake and transport of phosphorus are coupled to Na~+ uptake by the Na~+/phosphate cotransporter,and the progress of active uptake and transport was regulated by many factors.We could reduce environmental pollution which caused by phosphorus significantly,and make sure animals growing best after knowing the mechanism of absorption and transport of phosphorus.This article summerized the update progress in the mechanism of absorption and transport of phosphorus.
