Thrombose des veines hépatiques secondaire à un traumatisme abdominal

2015
Summary We report a rare case of thrombosis of the hepatic veins secondary to abdominal trauma and our therapy management of this case. A 35-year-old woman was admitted to hospital for abdominal trauma (public highway accident). Contrast-enhanced abdominal CT confirmed the presence of a thrombosis of the hepatic veins and IVC (Figures 1, 2 and 3). With low molecular weight heparin, the patient improved in a satisfactory way without complications or pulmonary embolus. The use of “only” an anticoagulation for thrombosis of the hepatic veins secondary to abdominal trauma proved to be simple, feasible and efficient.
