Novel Non-Magnetic Circulator Based on Radio Frequency Nonreciprocal Network

This paper presents a novel three-port circulator based on radio frequency nonreciprocal network. The nonreciprocal network is realized by perturbing the time-reversal symmetry using switches controlled by periodic signals, and it consists of switches and non-dispersion delay lines. The theoretical analyzes of the nonreciprocal network is carried out firstly. Then, the three-port circulator is designed and simulated, the simulation results show that the circulator has a bandwidth from DC to 0.8 GHz and isolation is large than 32 dB. Thus, the proposed circulator is suitable for full-duplex radio applications.
