The invention provides a 1.8% avermectin, which relates to the technical field of pesticides. A formula for the 1.8% avermectin comprises 1.8% of avermectin, 12% of No. 4 emulsifier (a compound of calcium dodecyl benzene sulfonate and styryl phenol formaldehyde resin polyoxyethylene ether) and No. 6 emulsifier (a compound of calcium dodecyl benzene sulfonate and styryl phenol formaldehyde resin polyoxypropylene ether), 6 to 8% of N,N-dimethyl formamide and 5% of a ketone cosolvent, with the balance being the solvent of xylene. The 1.8% avermectin provided in the invention has good insecticidal effects on insects with drug resistance (e.g., psylla chinensis), and an insecticidal rate of more than 98% can be achieved seven days after the 1.8% avermectin is applied. Meanwhile, the 1.8% avermectin has quick-acting and long-acting properties; the drug effect of the 1.8% avermectin can last for more than 30 days each time, and the insecticidal effect of the 1.8% avermectin is more than two times better than that of common insecticidal pesticides.
