Феномен снижения чувствительности Klebsiella pneumoniae к гентамицину под влиянием антиоксидантов

2013
The effect of antioxidants (the reduced glutathione, N-acetylcysteine, ascorbic acid, and methylethylpyridinol) in the concentrations of 0.5, 1, 2, and 4 mM on the sensitivity of Klebsiella pneumoniae to gentamicin in the incubation in mineral M9 medium within 24 hours has been studied. It has been determined that the studied antioxidants reduce the sensitivity of bacteria to gentamicin. The evident antibacterial properties of antioxidants directly depend on their concentration in the incubation medium. These data must be considered in the use of antioxidants in managing patients with infectious diseases caused by Klebsiella pneumoniae.
