Reconsidering the Formalization of Experimental Designs. Comments about Mathy (2006)

We reconsider the formalization of experimental designs proposed by Rouanet and Lepine, recently commented in this journal by Mathy (2006), in order (i) to give some precisions about this formalization (ii) to correct some mathematical errors, and (iii) to answer some criticisms which are not justified from our point of view.
