The utility model provides a device for detecting the leakage in a single-acting oil cylinder. The device is characterized in that a pressure cavity (2), a piston (3) and a non-pressure cavity (4) are located inside a cylinder body (1); an oil inlet (5) is located at the lower part of the cylinder body (1), and an air exhaust (6) is located at the upper part of the cylinder body (1); the lower part of an oil storage tank (7) is communicated with the air exhaust (6); a floater (8) is located in the oil storage tank (7) and floats on a liquid surface and connected with a limiting switch (10) by a connecting rod; and an air release valve (9) is located at the upper part of the oil storage tank (7). In the device, the air exhaust (6) of the single-acting oil cylinder is communicated with the oil storage tank (7), so that when internal leakage around the piston (3) of the oil cylinder appears, the liquid level of the oil storage tank (7) rises to push the floater (8) to ascend so as to conduct the limiting switch (10) to give an alarm, therefore, the device is capable of detecting whether the single-acting oil cylinder suffers from internal leakage in real time so as to achieve the purposes of accurate judgment and timely replacement.
