Achievements of feminism and policies for the promotion of gender equality are inseparable of the current awareness of the activities of women in science, their intellectual leaderships and very often their lack of recognition. Patriarchal society is big and powerful, but also extremely compact. Fissures between which women and their names as authors entered into the group of experts have been narrow but permanent. Through these fissures entered women at universities much before having permission to do so, many times dressed up as men. Thus, achievements of feminism were of two types: feminists entering into the sages, activists, vindicators.
