A family case of IgA nephropathy and Henoch-Schönlein purpura nephritis

Abstract We describe a family case of IgA nephropathy and Henoch-Schonlein purpura nephritis. This is the first report involving IgA nephropathy in a child and Henoch-Schonlein purpura nephritis in a parent. It is suggested that the two were related etiologically as well as clinicopathologically.
