Application and Prospect of ADI and CADI in Metallurgical and Mine Industries

The wear resistance properties of ADI and CADI and their anti-wear principle was summarized. The application situation of ADI grinding balls, lining plates and hammer head was introduced in detail. It was considered that the ADI parts are superior to the hi-Cr cast iron parts in many aspects including the overall mechanical properties, wear resistance, working life as well as the production cost. And the effect of application of CADI in the agricultural machinery was also introduced. Based on the development tendency of iron and steel industry of China it was pointed out that the market of ADI and CADI wear resistant parts has broad prospect.
