Adhesives for refrigerated substrates

1999
The invention relates to the use of radically polymerised polymers that are crosslinkable by means of UV-light and consists of at least 50 wt. % C2 to C18 alkyl(meth)acrylates and are used as an adhesive for gluing together carriers on substrates, whereby said carriers are coated with the polymers. Said polymers are built-up by monomers. The invention is characterised in that 0.1 to 30 wt. % of said monomers are monomers A without carboxylic acid- or carboxylic acid anhydride groups and with a water solubility greater than 5 g monomers per litre of water. The substrates are humid, especially frozen substrates.
