In the previous report, the equilibrium operating performance of turbocharged Diesel engines was calculated by graphical solution of the simultaneous equations, deduced from the relations existing among the operating variables under reasonable assumptions. The same method is applied to find the influence of the efficiency of turbocharger, valve overlap, charging air cooling and exhaust pressure on the performance of the engine. In the computation, each one factor was varied, the rest being kept constant and thereby the effect of each factors on the engine performance has been found out.
