A microscopic investigation of gR and band cut-off effects

The relations between a microscopic shell-model and a collective rotor-model description of the A=52–60 nuclei are further investigated. A microscopic interpretation of the rotational gR-factor is given and a connection between seniority and band cut-off is presented.
