The Future of Cybersecurity Policy

The five feature articles in this special issue focus on the future of cybersecurity policy. Dynamic trends are affecting the landscape of cybersecurity policy making. Whatever the driver of these changes—new technologies, new threat types, or innovative approaches in government, industry, or society—there is a need to anticipate and prepare for them and clarify the challenges, opportunities, and interdependencies we face. The articles focus on updating the way we think about attribution, assessing the future of cyberinsurance, harmonizing governance in a data-driven society, anticipating future trends in the information environment, and learning about the European approach to cybersecurity governance.
