Application of Machine Learning in medical data analysis illustrated with an example of association rules

Abstract The authors propose a method for medical data analysis aiming to determine risk groups. The method uses association rules generation and the analysis of a selected target feature. The method is presented with an example of patient analyses in regard to the possibility of suffering a stroke. The method is universal and can be used also for other medical dataset analyses leading to risk group identification.
