Wastewater and the Environment

It is now more than ever necessary for public health and sanitary engineers to take the lid off the processes concerned with the collection, transport, treatment and disposal of wastewater and by means of a continuing programme to inform and educate the public at large of what is being done by the industry. This paper briefly describes a sewerage scheme and looks at two case histories of wastewater treatment plants.
