Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is characterized by a progressive and not fully reversible airflow limitation caused by chronic small airway disease and lung parenchymal destruction.However,but little attention has been paid to its effects on cognitive function.This review will examine the clinical features of cognitive dysfunction in patients with COPD,and explore the mechanisms underlying in patients with COPD.
