Analysis on mixed drug of abuse by gas chromatography-mass spectromeiry

2005
Objective: To establish a sensiti ve and rapid method for determination of components of mixed drugs of abuse. Methods: Gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS) was used for qualitative and quantitative analysis of the components in mixed drugs of abuse . Results: The calibration of amphetamines and morphine had a good linear relationship in the range of 5.0×10 -4-2.0×10 -2 g·m l -1, the minimal detection limits (LOD) were 1.0×10 -4 g·ml -1 and 2.0×10 -4 g·ml -1, respectively; the linear range of ket amine, pethidine, diazepam, caffeine, cocaine, chlorpheniramine and phe nacetin was 5.0×10 -6-5.0×10 -4 g·ml -1 and the minimal det ection limit were 1.0×10 -6 g·ml -1 and 2.0×10 -6 g·ml -1. Conclusion: The established method can be used for qualitative and quantitative analysis of components of mixed drugs rapidly and accurately.
