Concept and development of tilting bogies for the DB AG`s class 611 diesel multiple unit train; Konzeption und Entwicklung der Neigetechnik-Drehgestelle fuer den Dieseltriebzug der Baureihe 611 der DB AG

The use of tilting trains opens up new perspectives for the railways and calls for a continual improvement of the existing systems. The further development of tilting vehicles makes it necessary to develop new concepts, especially for the running gear and the tilting mechanism. The paper decribes possible concepts for the development of a new underfloor tilting bogie along with its implementation in practice. Short development periods and a high degree of innovation require the use of up-to-date computational efforts. For this reason, the dynamic design of the vehicle was conceived on the basis of computer simulations of the overall system, comprising tilting kinematics, controllers, wheelset coupling, etc. In addition, extensive trials were performed. The paper describes the simulation model and the trials and discusses the results of the simulation and tests. The results of the calculations and tests are well in agreement. (orig.) [Deutsch] Der Einsatz von Neigetechnikfahrzeugen eroeffnet der Bahn neue Perspektiven. Dafuer muessen die bestehenden Systeme staendig verbessert werden. Die Weiterentwicklung von Neigetechnikfahrzeugen erfordert vor allem fuer Fahrwerk und Neigetechnik innovative Konzepte. Es werden Konzeptueberlegungen zur Entwicklung eines neuen Unterflur-NeiTech-Drehgestells und ihre konstruktive Umsetzung beschrieben. Kurze Entwicklungszeiten und ein hoher Innovationsgrad bedingen den Einsatz moderner Rechentechnik. Die dynamische Auslegung des Fahrzeugs wurde deshalb auf der Grundlage simulationstechnischer Untersuchungen des Gesamtsystems mit Neigekinematik, Regler, Radsatzkopplung usw. vorgenommen. Ebenso wurde ein umfangreiches Erprobungsprogramm absolviert. Das Simulationsmodell und die Erprobungen werden beschrieben und die Simulations- und Pruefergebnisse diskutiert. Dabei zeigten die Ergebnisse von Rechnung und Messung eine gute Uebereinstimmung. (orig.)
