Retrieval of a Well-Orientated IVC Filter with Embedded Struts

This case describes the retrieval of an IVC filter in which the struts had become embedded in the caval wall. Balloon angioplasty and combined jugular and femoral access are utilized to free the filter prior to retrieval.
