The European Union endeavours to promote healthy lifestyle

The authors have presented EU endeavours related to health promotion. The attention has been paid to the major aims of various agencies and organisations across Europe. The Council of Europe’s project activities and selected pro-health programmes of the European Community have been briefly discussed.
