An Emergency Mobile Communication System Based on Fixed-Wing Drone and Satellite Transmission Access

Nowadays, drone communication platform in the industry has been emerged with the tethered drone. However, two defects in the current platform should be further considered. First, flight altitude reaches 100-200m at most, which is restrictedby the photoelectric composite cable connected to the emergency communications vehicle. Second, tethered drone cannot be usedin the damaged road when the earthquake, flood occurs. Therefore, this paper designed an all-weather fixed-wing emergency communication system using satellite transmission, this systemcan solve the tethered drone defects. This system used huge fixedwing drone as the platform that load the base station connectedto the public mobile communication network by the satellitetransmission, which can achieve the desired application effectin the emergency communication.
