Effects and Baits Adaptability of the Anticoagulant Rodenticides to Rattus norvegicus in Laboratory in Guiyang

2005
Objective To investigate effects and adaptability of anticoagulant rodenticides baits to Rattus norvegicus in laboratory. Methods 80(♀40,♂40)Rattus norvegicus from the field of Guiyang City, Guizhou Province were divided into 4 groups randomly and warfarin, coumatetralyl, diphacinoneNa and bromadiolone were tested using selective and unselective feeding methods tested. Results Four using anticoagulant rodenticides poison mortalitiy of Rattus norvegicus was above 90%. The ingestion coefficient of coumatetralyl, bromadiolone, diphacinoneNa and warfarin were 1.49, 0.67, 0.62 and 0.37,respectively. Conclusion Four anticoagulant rodenticides have a obviously effect on Rattus norvegicus. Coumatetralyl bait adaptability is the best than others, but that of bromadiolone decrease.
