A constrained finite element formulation for the Landau–Lifshitz–Gilbert equations

Abstract A finite element formalism is proposed to solve the dynamic micromagnetic equations. To estimate the validity and the accuracy of this finite element approach, the results of two bidimensional test cases are compared with a finite difference approach.
