A new species of Pyemotes (Acari: Pyemotidae) parasitic on bark beetles (Coleoptera: Scolytidae) from Hebei, China

Abstract Males and females of Pyemotes moseri sp. nov. are described. This mite is a parasite of the larva and pupa of a species of Cryphalus (Coleoptera: Scolytidae) infesting Chinese hickory in Hebei, China.
