2012
Objective To observe the preventive effects of different doses of buprenorphine on shivering following spinal anesthesia. Methods 90 ASAⅠ~Ⅱ patients undergoing selective hysterectomy were allocated into 3 groups randomly,30 patients in each group.2 mL of buprenorphine 0.5 mg,buprenorphine 0.3 mg and neutral saline were administered intravenously in the 3 groups after spinal anesthesia respectively. The incidence of shivering and side effects including nausea, vomiting and drowsiness were observed and recorded. Results There were 1,3,10 cases of shivering in group B1,group B2 and group C respectively, with significant difference between group B1 and the other two groups. Conclusion Buprenorphine 0.5 mg is effective to prevent shivering after spinal anesthesia.
