Provided are the following: a curing composition that excels in release properties and inkjet discharge accuracy; a pattern forming method; a pattern; and a device manufacturing method. The curing composition contains a polymerizable compound and a photopolymerization initiator. At least 10 mass% of the polymerizable compound is neopentyl glycol diacrylate, and the total content of a compound represented by formula (I) and a compound represented by formula (II) is no more than 5 mass% with respect to the content of the neopentyl glycol diacrylate.
