Loyal Angel——Analyze the Little Women by the Conflict between the Puritanism and New Feminism

Little Women,being one of the classics of American literature,was written by an American woman writer——Louisa May Alcott.Four March girls do not want to be defined by ties of kinship: daughter,wife,and mother at home,they dare to break the fetters imposed on them by the family or society and arrange their life according to their own will.This kind of depiction shows the conflicts between the puritanism and new feminism.This paper will discuss one character of the four sisters—loyalty though the conflict to show their charm.Meanwhile,leaving a question for readers to think about that nowadays what the definition of woman is.
