Linguagem Audiovisual – como Planificar um Vídeo para o Ensino a Distância e para Flipped Classroom

The video appears as a valuable and widely used resource in the contexts of distance learning and flipped classroom methodologies. The production and the direction of contents in video format for these contexts, are guided by specific rules of the audio-visual language and require the use of a recording and video editing script with embedded questionnaire. The script proposed in this work considers, for each video shot: the shots scale, the camera positions, the camera movements, and the movements of characters, the action, the speeches; the music, and the questions for self-assessment. The script proposed brings together all the necessary items for the production and the direction of a video in a holistic structure that will ensure that the producer/director of the video has an effective control of the narrative and also, through the built-in questionnaires, it will allow the student to carry out the self-evaluation of their progress and their success in the proposed learning. Thus, the proposed script template provides the necessary and accurate information about the various items that allow the production and direction of videos that are oriented to the distance learning environments and the flipped classroom methodologies.  Full Article
