Profil Serologis Virus Dengue yang Menginduksi Infeksi Primer dan Sekunder dari Beberapa Area di Jawa Timur

The purpose of this study was to identify profile of immune responses primary infection and secondary infection of dengue virus. The blood serum of Dengue Fever patients who have been diagnosed as referred to criteria of WHO 1997 in the some local general hospital was sampled. It was then examined serologically using capture ELISA method to know a presence of IgM and IgG anti-dengue. The result in Surabaya, from 72 samples which examined using ELISA method, 19,44% showed negative result, 5,56% showed equivocal IgG, 12,50% showed primary infection and 62,50% showed secondary infection. Whereas in Malang, from 41 samples which examined using ELISA method, 12,20% showed negative result, 4,88% showed equivocal IgM, 2,44% showed equivocal IgG, 7,32% showed primary infection and 73,17% showed secondary infection. In Jember, from 61 samples which examined using ELISA method, 37,70% showed negative result, 3,28% showed equivocal IgG, 6,56% showed primary infection and 52,46% showed secondary infection. In conclusion, there were differences in primary and secondary infection’s serological profile and domination serological profile in Surabaya, Malang and Jember, East Java.
