Escherichia coli-Cloned CFTR Loci Relevant for Human Artificial Chromosome Therapy

In this report by Rocchi et al., the authors construct and characterize a human artificial chromosome (HAC) gene expression system capable of reconstructing and delivering the complete cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) gene. The efficacy of this system was evaluated in vitro using cell cultures.
