Analysis of wideband dispersion slope compensating optical fibres by supermode theory

The behaviour of a dispersion compensating fibre is expressed by three simple parameters based on the supermode theory and compared to measurements. Dispersion and dispersion slope can be described by these parameters, regardless of the profile.
