A method for manufacturing a display device comprises the steps of forming a liquid crystal layer composed of a liquid crystal composition containing reactive mesogen between a first substrate and a second substrate spaced apart from each other; applying an electric field to the liquid crystal layer; primarily curing the liquid crystal layer at a temperature of -20 to 60°C; and secondarily curing the liquid crystal layer without an electric field.
