Analgesic effect of oxycodone-acetaminophen tablets in patients with cervical cancer

Objective: To observe the analgesic effect of oxycodone-acetaminophen tablets in patients suffering from cervical cancer.Methods:All the 49 cervical cancer patients(Ⅱb-Ⅳa stage) admitted for radiotherapy were randomly divided into the test and control groups.The patients in test group took oral oxycodone-acetaminophen tablets,or received the tablets by plugging into anus 30min before radiotherapy;the patients in control group took 10~15mg of the morphine tablets per 4~6h.Results: The pains of all patients were relieved to different extent.The pain control rates were 92% and 83% in the test and control groups,and the control rate increased from 71%(control) to 88% when the tablet was plugged.Conclusion: Oxycodone-acetaminophen tablet has a better analgesic effect on cancerous pain and the pain associated with cervical caner.
