High-saturation-current, wide-bandwidth photodiodes

This paper describes the design and performance of two photodetector structures, a partially depleted absorber photodiode and a charge-coupled unitraveling carrier photodiode, that have achieved very high saturation currents while maintaining wide bandwidths.
