The higher the yield of the main product of the crop, the greater the yield of the by-product, that is, there are created conditions for more humus content, and if the loss of humus does not depend on the yield, the conditions for a positive balance of humus are improved. Regarding the balance of the main nutrients in the soil, it can be stated unequivocally that in the absence of the use of microbiological preparations, the main nutrients delivered with the harvest of the main products should be returned to the soil. This task has only one solution, that is, the balance N, P, K is provided only at a specific fertilizer rate, at which the corresponding yield is formed. In the case of the alienation of part of the by-product (straw and leaf-stalk mass), the removal of elements increases, which requires a corresponding increase in the rate of fertilizers. That is, the problem of ecological farming consists of two functionally different parts - the ecological compatibility of products and the provision of at least the existing level of natural soil fertility. So, the requirements of compliance with the conditions for both parts of environmental friendliness are usually contradictory, which, in turn, requires their coordination, and therefore full satisfaction of only one of them is not possible.
