CLINICAL STUDY ON RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS TREATED WITH XINFENG CAPSULE

Objective:To observe the treatment effects of xinfeng capsule on patients with rheumatoid arthritis(RA)and the influence on pulmonary function.Methods:40 cases with RA were divided into two groups according to random number table,the treatment group was treated with xinfeng capsule,the control group was given zhengqing fengtong ning,the indexes including treatment effects,pulmonary function,clinical symptom and index of experiment were observed.Results:There were no significant difference between two groups in total effective rate,but the excellence ratio of the treatment group were higher than that of the control group.The treatment group were improved more remarkably on accumulating points of joint pain,symptoms and Hb than those of the control group.The level of RBC in treatment group was higher than that of control group after treated,IC,MVV,FEF25.FEF50,PEF were increased significantly in the treatment group,MVV and FVC in the control group were increased significantly,and the improving of MVV in the treatment group was more obviously than that of control group,the levels of FEF25,FEF50,FEF75 and PEF in treatment group was higher than those of control group.Conclusion:Xinfeng capsule can improve joint symptoms entirely and decrease inflammation activity index and improve pulmonary function of patients with rheumatoid arthritis.
