Remote Area Business Communications

The design of a communications system to fulfil the need of an organisation operating in a remote area is dependant on the types of services required, the quality of service required and the quantity of information to be transferred. All of these factors depend heavily on the particular organisation under study. A number of alternative media are then available to achieve the communications link necessary to realise these services, these including microwave radio and leased and privately owned satellite systems.
