Enantiomer separation of permethrinic acid methyl ester
2000
The retention behavior of permethrinic acid methyl ester (PI) was investigated on five cyclodextrin phases: Permethylated beta-cyclodextrin (PMBCD), 2, 6-Di-O-butyl-3-O-butyryl-beta-cycloedextrin (DBBCD), 2, 6-Di-O-nonyl-3-O-triflouroactyl-O-beta-cyclodextrin(DNBCD), 2,6-Di-O-pentyl-3-O-acetyl-beta-clodextrin (DPABCD) and the mixed CSP (PMBCD + DBBCD). It was found that the separation effect of DPABCD is the best. Some thermodynamic data of PI were obtained. The ratios of Delta(Delta H)/Delta(Delta S) on different CSPs were very close, which means that enthalpy-entropy compensation may be presented in chiral recognition and PI may have the same retention mechanism on different CSPs.
